Basically what that Newcastle fan said (tweet i just posted), how can you ignore a legend of the game like Koeman's call. Sums him up.
There's no evidence of anything other than things look very similar to before. Quit the nonsense. We're a far far better proposition than we were 12 months ago. We're going in the right direction absolutely just not at the pace a few people want. Previously we didn't even have a direction. We've gone from a competent manager and an incompetent board, to an incompetent manager and incompetent board, to a good manager and an ambitious board who have struggled to execute player wise in this window only (depending on your levels of FM manageritis during the summer).
And if likely does the same mate we wont do f all either, can't discount for a player whilst analysing us against them.
I agree. They weren't really a big miss. They were as and when squad players. Most that left had hardly played in the last few seasons, Hibbert,Pienaar,Osman.
We had 5 leave.
Stop it Bungle.Odds have tumbled on Koeman leaving, talk of huge split between him and the board already.
Up Everton.
Yes, still trying to get it done, but its looking very, very unlikely now.
As long as its not Miss Widnes we can live with it.The lack of a backup striker would be my main concern tbh. To be fair, the fanfare and the promises came more from twitter and the like than from the club.
Without doubt, mistakes have been made, and I suspect the main one was due to a lack of pragmatism so we'll have wasted time and effort chasing Miss World when we should have been chasing Miss Wales ( unless she won Miss World anyway ).
It'll take time to turn it round to make us more attractive to players and some non-playing personnel at the club will likely be looking over their shoulders, but anyone who calls it a disaster is away with the fairies.
The one position we have been in desperate need for is a creative attacking midfielder. But it's as if the club knows that it might displace Barkley, and they haven't got the balls to do it.
Koeman may have a few nasty changes to make in the next while.
