Makes sense but my analogous example might not make sense to you. A bit like when in America a college basketball or football player chooses to enter the draft before he uses all his years of eligibility for the university. If that makes sense lol.Nothing new, but his attitude is first rate apparently.
Thing is, it is difficult to explain to a UK football audience, (money money money) the different way that Kiev supporters and the club feel about Yarmolenko moving on.
The closest to it from an EFC viewpoint would be if John Stones was home grown, fan, and ace. And moved to Barcelona. After playing in the EL or CL to give us the best chance of not being shown up. There would be a degree of pride that a local lad was honed by us, gave his all, then was rewarded with a move to where he wanted.
Probably doesnt make sense, but that is their mindset. Yarmolenko in the PL reflects well on Kiev.

Because it is as Everton as stripey mints mate. Why are people fuming about that Echo article. It says nothing new at all. He (Martinez) doesn't say we're not going to sign everybody, he's just maintained that January isn't the time for a major squad re-shuffle - which is what he's said all along in his time here - because you don't get value for money.
He's also right in that we have a good squad - unfortunately they're under-achieving at the moment.
Still think that'll be a case of 2 more (McGeady and Gibbo) out, and 1 in - possibly a loan - on deadline day.
Yarmolenko is a pipe dream but we'll just have to wait and see.
Jesus Yarmolenko?if Roberto brings Yarmolenko to Goodison he would be the Messiah
Huh?
prepare yourself ..where is that Yarma-fume-meter?Yarmolenko had a pre (mini) season/pre medical today. At Athletico Madrid. But only cos the team were there. Apparently.
Lets be honest, if we actually signed him you still wouldn't care?I don't care if Yarmolenko signs anymore. Bored of it all.
