Everton Transfer Thread 2016

but he's not though is he... he's a decent player in a very poor team.
The only real asset he has is pace and at nearly 30 that'll start to go. Plus he would want loads of money for wages and as a back up I don't think it represents good value. Not even sure he'd want to come here as back up.

I doubt the players will care, about the investment. It might help us keep our better players in the summer though, if they see us investing in the squad.

He's crap mate. Benteke was an example of a decent player in a poor team, if Agbonlahor was any good Villa wouldn't be doing so poorly.
We have enough players to get rid of this season who aren't up to it or are past it,.we don't need any more players of that ilk.

Kante from Leicester looks like a player that could add to our midfield, works hard, runs all day

Lingard from manure, plays on left, looks decent and would develop better in the school of science

No chance of getting either

Perhaps, but not much chance of getting a lot of people mentioned in this thread either. The point is I'd rather use our resources to continue to buy good and young players and develop them at Everton than throw £50M plus on established European players.

Haha new investor so the transfer thread kicks off

My stance hasn't changed, I'd love us to sign players who can make a difference to our first 11 not squad and hopefully we are in more of a position now to sign the type of player for the here and now rather than for the future.
