According to this mornings newspapers and the rumours of us being interested in Michael Carrick and a goalie from Southend, I'd have to admit to singularly unimpressed.
I suppose the goalie could be a discovery of Big Nev proportions, but Carrick ??

Carrick is the same age as Barry and is coming to an end now like Barry. I would fume if we sign Carrick. He is finished at this level.

What keeper, hope it's Daniel Bentley, been banging this drum for ages, he could be a gamble that pay off.

If we are still going to be shopping at Aldi,I'm going to be fuming.
 

Carrick on a free? Get 12 months out of him and it's a great signing.

Big yes from me.

He can be our Regista - his eye for a long ball can add another twist to our counter attacking game. We've seen this season the way that Spurs have benefitted from that tactic.
