I'm not doubting that at all I know how important a top keeper is. I'm talking about from our perspective. We've just seen investment in to the club but we've yet to see exactly what difference he's going to make in terms of a "war chest".

If for example, we have 30 million without sales, I wouldn't like us buying a keeper for 20 million no matter how good he was.

For City, the fee clearly doesn't matter one iota.

Id pay it for him, new era and all that lark lets make a statement, plus its been suggested we have around 100m to spend

I think we would only sign one replacement, possibly Howdes or Manolas. Galloway can play LB and Browning can play RB as well as centrally, so I think we should keep them with the squad, unless there are some short term loan deals for them.

If we were to get A 2ND NEW CB i think it should be someone at the top end of the age spectrum, someone with loads of premier league experience, to guide the younger players when Jags is not playing. I know people have joked about John Terry on here, but stranger things have happened in football..............just about

Someone like Ashley Williams is probably more realistic
