Everton Transfer Thread 2016

Mirror are stating we, along with Liverpool, are interested in Lacazatte. Liklihood is that we are, but only if we lose Lukaku. However I really think we should be changing our style and playing 2 up top and I think that will really work for us.

However. I think between Batshuayi and Lacazette one will go Spurs and the other to West Ham I feel.

Scoring goals isnt an issue, 2 upfront wouldnt help with the real problem, which is conceding goals.

So if anything, going to a back 8 would help our game more than a front 2 would.

this was from the BBC website! this is how i remember the deal going as well!

Everton have agreed a £500,000 deal with AEK Athens for their Greek defender Kostas Manolas.

The Toffees have also agreed personal terms with the 20-year-old centre-back.

However, the transfer is on standby as Everton wait to see how much of their transfer budget might be taken up by the prospective signing of striker Nikica Jelavic from Rangers.

AEK are keen to sell Greece Under-21 international Manolas in January as he is out of contract in the summer.

They also have financial difficulties and are ready to listen to offers for their best players.

Basically we had told the English if they had come to an agreement with the player, we would not stand in their way. The same as we told the player. Eventually, the matter did not progress, but at not time did we sell out the player or force Manolas to leave. He will continue at AEK permanently."

All I'm saying this is how I remember it if I didn't know the AEK chairman said that I wouldn't have mentioned what I did MATE!
 
I would make a little bid for Gestede when Villa take the plunge! Always been impressed with the lad, despite him playing in the worst team in history! Reckon he would be a good foil for Rom too ( provided Rom hasnt jumped ship)

Not for me mate, but I would take their full back Amavi, cracking player who is going straight to the top.
