Playing well in two meaningless games that can’t even get us out of the bottom half really won’t be showing the manager anything for next season.
It might not.
But its the right attitude to have.

I’d be looking at Norwich and Villa closely.
personally feel
Norwich: Cantwell, Buendia, Adams would all be solid acquisitions.
Villa (if they go): Douglas Luiz (think he’s underrated), McGinn would both offer us a bit of snide in the middle.
how expensive can they be?

Nah, sick of all these sound bites. They mean absolutely nothing and have proven so time and time again. It might not.

The majority have no future to fight for. There’s about 5 players worth keeping out of the lot of them. The fact they actually have realised they are playing for their futures here is progress as far as I see
Keane wont be going anywhere mate....none of our centre backs will be.Nah, sick of all these sound bites. They mean absolutely nothing and have proven so time and time again.
There is no time for the majority of this squad anymore, including Keane. Get them out.
Right but even a talented midfielder isn’t getting 15 goals for us mate. We don’t have that ability. City can have a midfielder do it because they have world class players acrosss the pitch and make tonnes of chances.Surely Brands job is to discover players like that. Has to be hidden gems in countries like Holland and Belgium.

First team to have a player retrospectively banned for diving. First player to be given a red card after a match. We are a whipping boy and club just accepts itThis squad is better but the competition is alot stronger.
Back in the days of Moyes it was only really Arsenal, Utd, Chelsea & RS who were teams that you knew were much better.
With this squad you can now throw in those 4 + Man City, Spurs, Wolves & Leicester.
Add in Sheff Utd, Burnley & Southampton who are also "around us" in terms of effort and fight their sides put in to make up for their lack of quality.
I honestly think if we get this window wrong we'll jump 1-2 spots up the table at most next season.
If I was the board I would go big this one & blag some sponser to sell us just evade / only slightly break FFP in next seasons accounts and take a fine - we just are nowhere near top 6 at present- both in terms of quality and a lack of leadership in the side.
Ha - the CAS / City case has set a precedent - UEFA aint handing out bans or embargos for a few million over the limit after being humiliated in court by City.
Lad he puts his hair in dreadlocks
Massive swerve for that alone

Why keep Sigurdsson when he’s on £120k a week and he’s absolutely cack.
