Because we also sign the likes of Branthwaite?

Not every signing can be an unknown wonderkid who we pay pennies for.

Richarlison was 21 and Zaha is nearly 28. Richarlison has improved and Zaha is not going to.

I’d definitely take Zaha presuming we got someone else as well like Sarr. Think if we got him for £40m and had 3 good seasons out of him it’d be well worth it. 4th season as a squad player. Think we could do far far worse, probably a bit expensive but that’s the market we’re in now.
