he's on a par. Like i said, let's not go overboard yet.

Richy has stunk the gaff out with some performances aswell this season
Seriously he’s our best player. I suppose DCL’s excuse is down to having no service.

Richarlison has played left wing, right wing and up front over the last 2 seasons and has more goals than lukaku.
Yes he’s not perfect and needs to improve parts of his game like most 23 year olds. You sound like the rest of the Uk media, laughing when it was reported Barca bid 85mil

He’s got more prem goals in the last 2 years from open play than, Firmino, Son, Lacazette, martial, Rashford and Jiménez. Playing for a mid table team.

We need a
RB, CB and RW
Midfield was starting to show signs in the last few games that it could knit together and become s powerful force.
Siggy and Gomes played some lovely football. Just need to up their game a bit and get in the box more.
Tom Davies is starting to mature into the tough tackling enforcer that we need and Iwobi has improved month by month
With Delph and Gbamin to return if they can get a good pre season I think are midfield is more than good enough. Although if someone like Allan came in I'd be happy
Wow satire is lost on some on here:whip::whip::drunk:

I don't think Zaha would even come here if we offered 40m, The lad wants Europe/trophies not money we can't offer him the latter anyway.

Because we also sign the likes of Branthwaite?

Not every signing can be an unknown wonderkid who we pay pennies for.

It would however be nice if the obvious signings ended up being good too...
They don't have to be unknown wonderkids, but it would be nice if we could start finding a few players before their prices have gone through the roof. You look at what Watford and Barcelona paid for Richarlison and Mina, and then what we paid for them just months later, and it highlights how we could save ourselves a fortune if we identified players ready for the next step, rather than waiting until they've already made it. Personally I do think we've made too many 'obvious' signings. It's difficult to believe that of all the players in the world we felt that Iwobi was the one we really needed. It's just such an unimaginative move. It makes me laugh when people get annoyed about us being linked with Lingard, Phil Jones etc as if we wouldn't touch them. They absolutely scream Everton signings with every inch of their being.

You know what the hilarious part is about transfer windows; you get people like @Dymak wanting us to shell out £40m+ on the likes of Zaha or Ismaila Sarr whilst sumultaneously devaluing any shouts to sign cheaper players from foreign leagues.

Where exactly do you think Sarr came from before Watford?

We need to be signing players before they accrue that PL inflation.

The worst bit about most of thsoe signings is we don't safeguard ourselves. United would almost give them away (ah la Sigurdsson for us) and we pluge in with a decent offer. I mean it's one thing taking them on loan for a season and having a look. At least we did that with Sidibe. There's nothing wrong with a year long loan at times.

serious question, when did we last do a swap deal? They are pretty rare in football anyway, the last one I remember is Aresenal/ Man Utd, Henrikh Mkhitaryan for Alexis Sanchez.

I have heard agents say they are difficult to do and often the players dont want to be labelled the "make weight".

Very true, but I think they might take off a bit more in the coming years as clubs have less cash to play with.

I don’t think he will have a lot of options to be honest
He’ll have a few if the price is right. I suppose for Everton to land Zaha or the like they would have to demonstrate what “the project” is and convince him to sign. He’ll get decent money whenever he goes. Wouldn’t have a lot of faith we could persuade anyone after how “the project” has progressed these last few years!
