He needs to pull his finger out this season!
Hopefully gets a worthy partner in the middle of the park. Not saying that he shouldn't need to improve on his own, but he needs a partner out there to allow him to bring his quality out more often.

So, err, anyone fancy us getting Messi?

*scarpers

im thinking Man City or PSG, even though he is over 30 and only has 1 year left he will still be a mad price and his wages will be high too. I would imagine he will want to go to a side he can see winning things in the next 2 seasons, then he will probably be off to semi retirement in the USA or China

Agreed, if Gbamin turns out to be any good and we do sign Allan he may even struggle for his place in the team.

we have signed Sebastian Kristensen, 17 year old Danish defender from Lyngby, he was on trial at the club towards the end of last season and must have inmpressed as he has now signed his first professional contract, welcome to Everton Seb!

Only to disappear down an unsy shaped rabbit hole

Probably better to get them in before the season starts - You know, pre-season training and all that

With the current midfield we might be in the bottom 3 in October
We aren't going to get all of our targets in before the season starts and neither are any other club in the league. It's just not going to happen.

End of the day we want better players in and all the better players we want the season just ended or still playing in europa or champ league

5mins after that Kirkbride stated were not upping our bid of €20mil for Gabriel to match Arsenal/Napoli at €25mil (despite us previously agreeing €30mil apparently).

Certainly doesnt seem positive for any 'transfer strategy' when Hojbjerg went to Spurs as well.

That was before branthwaite showed what he can do. We now know he's a reliable option. I wouldnt be surprised if we got a CB on loan this season so branthwaite's progress isn't blocked. We must spend our cash on CM end of
