Players signed from out previous managers clubs directly before they joined us are clearly not scouted out of dust by Marcel Brands.

I will give him Digne, that's his lot out of about 10 attempts.

Im hoping that if we do sign Allan + Doucoure then we begin looking at more Branthwaite, Nkonkou types and are able to bring more Gordons through.

Brands seems to be doing well in that respect and perhaps we can organically build a squad that way with current key players adding stability.

Wouldn't blame Carlo for walking. There must be way more attractive jobs available than working with the jokesters that run Everton.

There is no way he came here without promises of being given free reign to change the squad.

Either something has badly changed behind the scenes since he arrived or literally every single player he wants has rejected us.

Given the money we've lashed at players in the past I'm inclined to think they lied through their teeth and promised him the world to join us, now they've gone back on it and it's Sell-to-Buy FC once again.

Everybody knew our squad wasn't fit for purpose last season - I'd go as far as to say without Richarlison we'd have got relegated.

Now the new season is upon us and he's forced to integrate players such as Bolasie and Besic because we can't even give them away.

The club is literally forfeiting points in the opening months by refusing to improve the quality of the squad.

Absolutely disgusting.
