Hmm, to me, think we need more new signings playing 3-4-3 than playing 4-3-1-2.

If we end up with James/Allan/Doucoure/any RB, and don’t bring in any wingthe 4-3-1-2 makes a lot more sense than putting James out wide.

Bernard and especially Iwobi would both benefit massively playing in the centre too.

I imagine the 3 in the centre would include one dropping deeper (Gomes).

It gets the most out of the players we have available anyway.

Yeh that's the way I see it. Carlo might prefer 4-4-2 but think we've seen we don't have the squad for it nor have we been linked with enough wingers to make it sensible. Richy isn't as good out wide, Iwobi isn't, Bernard always drifts inside. 4-3-1-2 with those new signings, if they come, looks perfect.

But then again I'm not a world class manager so what do I know.

This is where Everton should get creative and offer cash + player so they aint paying PSG as much.
