I’m personally not arsed with Zaha. He could have forced the issue last year but chose not to. I think he could be another Bolasie anyway.

Didn’t they want £18m last week? I can’t see him going for less than Lewis (£13m), particularly as he also has the England player price inflation. Unless it’s £12m with a shed load of add ons.

Even £18 mil would be good value imo, the figure being talked about pre-COVID was closer to double that figure.

If we did actually only get James for the £12m BBC say, that means we’ve spent roughly £50m. There was talk of £60m we had to spend because of FFP (but I still don’t understand what is going in with that), so we could probably afford another outlay signing and Tomori on loan.
