Obviously if somehow Bale/Rodriguez came here and played to the standard that they’re capable of that’d be amazing but I really do think Brooks would be perfect for us. If this Gabby guy comes in and is quality, I really wouldnt mind moving Holgate over to the RB side and let him get in the attack. He so composed on the ball for a bigger guy. Love to see that.

Slating Fraser as the 'Scottish Shaqiri" is ridiculous, mainly because Shaqiri would have walked into our side and improved us considerably, but ended up being snapped up by Liverpool whilst the international scouts on here turned their noses up because he looks like a garden gnome.
Fraser will have his pick, and it will be no surprise if he ends up in a better squad than Everton's.

Are you another one that has developed an attachment to Bernard?
Fraser and Bernard's respective premier league records are there for everyone to see. It's clear as day who has the superior record. Even if you have a werid need to discount Fraser's superb performance last season, they would then be performing at a similar level.
We are in a position where we could perhaps get decent but not amasing money for Bernard and bring in a player that has a better premier league record for free. I feel that the team would improve and the club would benefit from this, but then I again I don't have an attachment to Bernard.
