Grealish will be 25 in September, his output from the left adds another threat and I cant see why anyone wouldnt want him aside from his "extra curricular" activities.

Having someone like him in the team would free up space for Digne on the overlap and opposition defences wouldnt be able to double up on our left side...it could also pull centre backs apart giving more space for DCL/Richarlison.

If we do have the money then we should be striking deals now while people are in panic mode.
I’m not sure he would come to us, but he does seem to fit the type of midfielder that Ancelotti would want on one side, someone who can move inside and support the two midfielders, while also getting forward. And having a more advanced player on the other side, a bit like how he set up at Napoli.

This would mean one of Bernard or iwobi leaving

Pickford, Holgate, DCL will all be in the England squads...Grealish would be our 4th England international if we got him.

Hes the Villa Captain and i think we'd be telling him we need him to take the team up a level.

I cant understand why he and Gattuso have fallen out...he seems the ideal player to fit in there.

Very hard to say what deal would make sense for ua here...ideally 3 years with a 1 year option extension.

Gattuso plays 2 in the middle and favours new signings Lobotka and Demme.

This guy is is usually on the money.

I haven't watched him play that much but I have my worries that he's not dynamic or aggressive enough for the PL. Big money moves for players of around 30 also worry me. We can't afford any more expensive mistakes on players with no resale or potential to move on.

In terms of ability I have no doubts he'd be a hit but likewise I don't like signing someone in the engine room that's 30 in Jan.

Is he aggressive enough or dynamic enough is a different question

But Every player we buy doesn’t have to have a resale value. Constantly buying young players, it becomes a never ending project imo

What sort of player is this Allan? Presumably someone who can pass 5 yards.
He’s the sort of player that if we linked with him pre-Carlo we would have been a laughing stock
Bit older than the ‘target age’, but I want the midfield to have some experience when the back line is still relatively young.
Let’s see, would be a statement if we snapped him up 100%

Drink drives, comes with a lot of baggage. Not for me.

If he can play a bog standard 5 yard ball then he’s not for Everton.

Off topic I know but seriously how have we spent more than a small country’s entire GDP on players who genuinely can’t make a 5 yard forward pass under no pressure whatsoever?

Are you another one that has developed an attachment to Bernard?

Fraser and Bernard's respective premier league records are there for everyone to see. It's clear as day who has the superior record. Even if you have a werid need to discount Fraser's superb performance last season, they would then be performing at a similar level.

We are in a position where we could perhaps get decent but not amasing money for Bernard and bring in a player that has a better premier league record for free. I feel that the team would improve and the club would benefit from this, but then I again I don't have an attachment to Bernard.

no I’m one who knows Fraser is poo. It’s simples
