I think the majority of Brazilians and South American’s in general are as tough as they come.

It’s a violent league in Brazil anyway but they haven’t been spoon fed through English academies like the modem players coming through now. They’ve still got a hunger and desire to fight for everything they get.

I didn't really mean battling qualities or anything like that, I just don't think he's got the skills or physical gifts to be a top midfielder over here. Based on YouTube, like.

I'm not a massive massive fan of Allan, if I were going to go for 1 player from Napoli it would be Koulibaly. That being said, it's clear Ancelotti obviously likes him and he has worked with the Napoli squad and knows all about them. It's also the case that our weakest area, by some distance is midfield. Gomes sticks out like a sore thumb, but he is also erratic and inconsistent.

I dont think Allan is a hard man either. Hes an all round midfielder and would be well suited to playing in a 4 4 2.

As a final point, let's be fair here, Napolis players are levels ahead of where our players are. So if the fee is right, with all of the above I'm happy with it. He might provide what we hoped Delph would.
 

I think the ‘hard man’ ‘bruiser’ type is being phased out of the premier league. If you look at the top teams city, Liverpool, chelsea there isn’t a players of this description in their squads. I’d much prefer an intelligent footballer over brawn. Just look at city’s midfield.

To be fair Allan looks like he is smart on the ball, carries it well at least. If Carlo wants him then hope we go get him.

Allan, Gabriel, Sidibe permanently, and any right winger would be a good summer for us.

Allan is a monster.
