Grealish has been a clear step up from Maddison this year in a significantly worse team. It's hard for me to see where the Maddison is better argument even comes from at this point.

I was just playing devils advocate with options he might have had if he waited, but he didnt wait, we offered him a good package and hes gone for it and we now have 1 of the best managers in the game.

I get it though guys, none of you want to admit that we might have gotten a bit lucky with something. But we did. We got lucky with how everything broke and got a great manager because of it!

I'd say a billionaire probably doesn't operate using luck as a means to hire somebody of Ancelotti's reputation, but me on the other hand as a fan , I still pinch myself we are incredibly lucky to have him. Long may it continue .

Looks can be deceiving. I think he's a decent guy all things considered including some questionable behavior since this quarantine started. And I don't care for his style myself.

I never went to a party when I was meant to be in lockdown and drank drove my car into a load of parked cars when I was in my early 20’s...and I drank a lot. Come to think of it if I was as rich as him I could probably afford a taxi.
