Just read this on the BBC:

West Ham United were so desperate to sign Chelsea's England defender Fikayo Tomori, 22, on loan that they offered to pay the Blues £50,000 every time he did not play

This is how we should structure our loans to championship clubs... free to loan and no wages to pay, but a penalty every time they don’t play (proportional payment per game) or they have to play x number of games per season.

A championship club would not be able to do that at all.

Why would a Premiership Club bind itself to having to play a loanee from a lower league? and wouldn't that also assume the player isn't getting enough game time at the Championship team or else what is in it for the Championship team?

In West Ham's case, having to play a youngster who can't get enough games for a top 4-5 Premiership team because you are lacking in that area works for both sides.

I think you got the wrong end of the stick mate. I'm suggesting that we should have a clause in our players being loaned out to Championship club stating such, not the other way around.

Didn’t Liverpool do something similar when they loaned Grulic to Cardiff the season before last (was it?) - if he didn’t play so many games they had to pay x million pounds.

He would be a good signing. I wonder if Buendia could be an option, if nobody else moves for him? Could end up getting him relatively cheap, especially if he wants out, and he is similarin style to James.
I'd rather Buendia than King if those are the options, but with Bernard not moving there isn't really space in the squad for Buendia unless Gordon is loaned.

Not for me Buendia
Yes he’s technically good, but small, lightweight and doesn’t score goals. I think he got one last year.

I agree on Sarr, he’s definitely the right sort of model player we should be going for. Powerful and pace and while he only got 5 goals last season, you would expect him
To get more as he becomes better and more experienced.

Interesting the report out of Italy( I know a lot of rubbish comes out of Italy) about Ancelotti not wanting milik, because he doesn’t fit the type of Forward player He wants. Basically saying we want counter attacking players.

You're right about Buendia he doesn't have goals in his game currently. But last year his forward passing and creativity rivaled the very top players in the league in that role. In our team where we have guys like DCL and Richarlison he'd be very useful. The problem of course is although he is better than Bernard they are too similar to have both in the squad and we won't be moving Bernard on now. Still if we think Gordon is better off on loan I'd like to see Buendia in.
