Napoli have reportedly agreed terms with Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes, beating Everton, Arsenal, Chelsea and Leicester City.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, although Gabriel performed some medical tests with the Toffees a few weeks ago, the contract was never deposited and the transfer remains incomplete.

That gave Napoli a chance to step in and snatch a player who had been a firm target for their old coach Carlo Ancelotti, who is now at Everton.
i DOUBT Napoli have a pot to urinate in

It's with you saying "he'd be great for us"....no matter how good he is,he's certainly not good enough for us to be putting up with his shaningans week in week out. He's just a really bad example of player we should be looking at.
Well he seems to have done ok for a team qualifying for the champions league consistently.

Also has 50caps for Holland at the age of 25, who aren’t some 2 bob nation like Scotland. So maybe he’s not the bad egg people make out.

Cowboy hats,Tigers,Rap videos.....naaa sorry

Stephan my sweet, think we may have to go our separate ways on this one.

Who’s also is a class above. Iwobi, Bernard, Walcott And Siggurdsson
Just the the 100mil wasted on them 4 and god knows how much in wages.
I’d rather gamble on depay than any of them 4.
Depay has gotten a bit of a reputation but he's no worse than a lot of other footballers in terms of living life. The injury thing is the real concern. But also we need to make sure he fits with what we want to do. He didn't work at United because he didn't fit and he's been great at Lyon because he specifically chose them as a club that suited how he plays. If we don't then the signing makes no sense.

He did'nt work at Utd because he was going missing for days at a time then turning up at training still off his face, not just that (like many of these young lads) he had a huge entourage he was dragging around everywhere with him and it was driving people at Utd nuts, also there was the whole turning up to the reserve game in the cowboy hat driving a Rolls Royce thing. He also needs to decide is he a footballer or is he a rapper.
