No need for that Bob - I put my kneecaps in jeopardy giving you all inside information and I get bugger all thanks for it.
Even in the extremely unlikely scenario that this is true and your source is both reliable and a violent thug then why would you do it? Are you really expecting thanks for lacking loyalty and being untrustworthy?

I thought he meant his knee caps are in jeopardy because he was giving out sexual favours for information. This makes so much more sense tho. I must be a sick perverted individual haha.

Even if the pandemic had never happened James was going to have to take a massive haircut in his wages.
I would guess that he was going to drop 100k per week before and probably even more now.

It is an upmarket version of the problem we have with our highly paid players , who can afford to take them ?
I think that Bolasie and Sandro are reportedly on 100k per week or thereabouts, they will be very lucky if they get a new contract on half that.

James Rodriques is obviously a much better player, but then the number of clubs that he will be prepared to go to will be very limited.
If he is considering Everton(if we are chasing his signature) it is completely down to our manager.

Everyones wages will be going on massive haircuts after this lockdown ends!

Obviously none of us have any idea what' going to happen but I would be alarmed if we did sign James on a 4 year deal. If he did turn out as injury prone as some of us fear, we would be stuck with another cripple on massive wages.

Unless he had some kind of Covid clause to reduce his salary he has a contract. They can't just cut his wages. He'd be better off going on loan, keeping his salary (even if it's split between employer's), and leaving on a free later when a big signing on fee would be available. There is no need to take a huge paycut now.

Well true he doesnt have to accept. If Madrid go into insolvency though, nobody gets paid.

I'll be honest, nobody is paying him close to what hes on at Madrid. Money is massively tight and hes declined a lot in 5 years.

Where's this come from?

....I seem to remember Venezuela had a really good youth team a few years ago. This lad looks a bit heavy, but the same could’ve been said about Maradona.

You might remember him from when we won the U20 WC. He was really small but very good technically. Had that Peneranda (Watford) and Cordova (Augsburg) up front ahead of him. Can't see it myself mind.
