Never really noticed him. Is he a ball winner non stop running player like Gana. Or a creative ball passing player with an eye for a goal.

Sort of in between, he’s not going to score many goals but he can pick a pass, but he’s mostly a ball winner - would be a good partner for Andre I reckon

Ehh, I’ve watched a few of their games this season and he’s looked decent to me. Besides we have a relatively low bar for improving our midfield with the likes of Delph and Sigurdsson floating round doing absolutely nothing

dunno mate thats just their reaction. I dont know much about him. Seems he has one decent game in 10 so will fit in nicely I think.

"most clubs" are the ones that use the January window as an excuse. We lost the FA Cup Final to Chelsea because they used the January window.

36 players moved to the Premier League in January to 18 clubs. "Most clubs barely do anything"? Might want to revisit that stance.

Hojbjerg isn't particularly well rated by Southampton fans, but he is only 24 so he will have some resale value, which is clearly the most important thing to all the big clubs.

If Hojbjerg and Allan are the options it's a no brainer. Hojbjerg is younger, cheaper and isn't moving from the Italian league. Even if his ability is a bit lower the rest makes it the right move.

Hojbjerg would be such a David Moyes type of signing imo. Safe bet for someone who could probably do a job and improve our midfield, but not someone who would be of any help of breaking through that very self comforting glass ceiling. Desperately hope we've moved on from that now.
