Getting some links with a move for Barkley today, as he doesnt fit into Lampards plans, with him bringing in Ziyech and favouring Mason Mount. I personally dont want Barkley back. I think he was good for us for about 1 full season and half of the season before, then he was injured and wanted his big money move to Chelsea, It would certainly pain me to bring him back for £20m when he went to Chelsea for £15m because he ran his contract down.

Also I dont think he would fit in a 2 man midfield, needs to be in a 3 so he can have a more attacking role. I think he will probably go to Newcastle if their takeover goes through

The role thing is important. We already have Iwobi who doesn't really fit in the system. It would be bad to get another.

Yes please

Scored several overhead blammos, sign him up.

He began his career as a midfielder and winger, but under the guidance of Albinoleffe's youth coach Alessio Pala, he was converted to a forward. Compared to Gianluca Vialli for his athleticism and style of play, Belotti is a quick and prolific striker, who has a strong and powerful shot with either foot. He is strong in aerial duels, and stands out for his acceleration, tactical intelligence, positioning, work-rate, and eye for goal.Although he is primarily deployed as an out-and-out striker, he is also capable of playing as a second striker, due to his ability to hold up the ball and link-up with teammates, in addition to scoring goals himself. An acrobatic player, he has also scored several overhead kick goals in his career.

Do you genuinely believe he consciously thinks this?
Many a manager does, constant comment from many is the importance of competition; not just in a squad sense but for genuine starting positions, it ensures they know they must maintain a high level during training and games.

There is news today that Zouma is available for £25m, us and Tottenham are credited with an interest in him. I would be surprised if Chelsea wanted to sell, he has played 33 times for them in all competitions so far and he still has 3 years on his current Chelsea contract. If they do I think we should be in for him, he was very good during his loan period and that sort of money for a premier league experienced defender is not bad at all.
