Id personally take him at around that figure, on a free. I think hes very creative and makes lots of chances, and better than Bernard. But I suppose its all about opinions.

Iwobi is not on a high wage for a footballer which was part of the attraction to Brands when he signed him IMO.

I can see is going down that route a bit more in future. Bigger fees for players on a relatively low wage to get around FFP.

I think it helps you move them on as well. I mean not jut to top teams if they improve, but also to sides around/below you if they dont. A big part of our problem is that we cant really give most of our players away given their wages. We cant box ourselves in like that anymore.

Honestly blue tinted specs off Leicester is probably ahead of us atm given their relatively recent title and CL (if they get it again this year). A decent year under Carlo and new stadium starting up will move us right back up there though

I think it's fair to say that I do have blue tinted glasses, but Everton as a club, as a name, are still bigger than both Leicester and Wolves. I'd also argue that our nearby affluent areas are better than theirs. That the North West is nicer than the drab Midland's.

They also got nearly £100m for Hazard and some of that went on Ziyech.

Please don't use those deals as a stick to beat Brands with as it makes you look silly.

Quite a few come over & struggle here.

Point being we are being fed by the Echo we wont be spending just maybe a loan or 2 even the odd Bosman.
I think they are wrong personally.

You watch Werner a lot more than me. How do you think he'll go in the PL?

I've seen him live a couple of times recently for Germany and not impressed at all tbh.
