We would then need a centre back (Gabriel/ Thiago Silva) and a RB who shifts across (Todibo).
Who could we sign or use to fill that RM slot under similar inatructions to Iwobi last match?
....that’s why we need a squad giving Ancelotti options. The Iwobi ‘instructions’ are fine against a top team, but we’ll need somebody more expansive in most games.
The other position to monitor is LB. I know Baines has been offered a new contract but from what was said yesterday, he hasn’t agreed that extension and there’s nobody obvious coming through from the Academy.

Pretty much agree with that. Looking at that list of players though shows how much it's going to take to turn Everton around. Even that squad has 4 or 5 at best who could develop into top 6 team players.
Feel free to explore for your self but it certainly isn't 100% in there. I browsed a bit and I'd say it is a majority positive though so I guess it counts.
Also a bit of self vaulting and I did say some smart stuff about Richarlison, but also had a horrendous it doesn't matter what we paid if he is top class like Pickford is top class shout. Yikes.
You said someone the fans didn’t think was good signing from the PL; I don’t recall many people not wanting Richarlison; maybe some thought expensive but no one said he wasn’t good.
If we head into next season with two players at left mid that can’t play left mid we won’t get Top 10.

Whilst some of those academy players might not deserve to be culled I think a few could be sold to help our FFP position. They’re pure profit. If Schalke are offering any sort of decent fee for Kenny I’d be amazed if we don’t take it.
