Agree with most of that, except that we absolutely would get £30m back for Pickford.

He’s struggled at times after that first season, but we’d get our money back, someone would pay it. Most likely would have been more if not for the probable market compression due to COVID

Who though? There's about 10 teams in the world who would pay £30m for a goalkeeper, and I don't think any of them would touch him with a bargepole.

I've not really been paying attention to football these last months. What is the itinerary for the transfer window, what are the open and close dates, has any of this been confirmed yet?

Anyone who doesn’t think CM is the first priority is bonkers.

We have sold MS who was involved in around 10-20 games this season I believe?

Gbamin: Can’t even count him due to his terrible injuries.

Delph: Showed nothing to suggest he’s good enough nor does he understand the honour to play for Everton.

Davies: Needs a loan to a Championship team or a team in Germany to see if he will make

Gomes: Talented and I do believe is best in a 3 but he needs a runner next to him.

Sigurdsson: Don’t even get me started and I don’t think see Carlo sees him playing CM for Everton myself.
We currently have one CM in my opinion of any sort of standing.

We need two, spend some money and go for a loan deal for Rabiot..

Midfield bypassed last night against the worst team in the league. We need some proper players in the centre, ones who control games, create chances and break up the play when we don’t have the ball.

I think the management probably realise that's our most pressing position.

Although I’m not a fan of his attitude either I’d argue that Delph suits the 442 the most of our midfielders (Gbamin not made enough appearances to make a fair judgement).

We need probably two central midfielders.
Davies is more of an attacking midfielder and only moderate when played further back.
Sigurdsson is certainly not a defensive central midfielder.
Gomes may not have fully recovered his confidence after his injury but at the moment he looks very ordinary.

Our defence is solid just now, we do have a threat up front even though there is nothing coming to help them from midfield and our midfield looks very ordinary.
