Well yeh if they're free but aren't many free that will improve. Silva won't come here not sure why people think he will.

Depends on FFP and what we can afford . Would rather two class players than four average ones.

We need at least another senior CB imo, Mina gets injured every now and then and Keane isn't good enough to be a regular starter. Hope we sign or loan one unless Gibson and Branthwaite are somehow deemed ready for it.

It would also help allow us to field a back 3 if the situation should require it.

I think City play such an open system at the back thats why weve seen lots of their big money signings fail.

In an Ancelotti system i think he could be moulded. Only 26 and hasnt played under someone who prioritises clean sheets

Would only be banned the following year or so - I doubt Man City are bothered by a ban when they done a domestic treble last season and could do another treble this one!

Think Coleman plays that RB/RCB hybrid partly due to tactical reasons and just partly due to the fact he’s no longer a threat in the attack and doesn’t have the ability or pace to threaten on the overlap. While Seamus is still a great defender we need a right back who can defend but also has the pace to overlap and provide width and more options for our RM to be able to threaten the opposition.

Yeah i think that may well be the case. Of course the two names weve been linked with at RB have been Aarons and Emerson and i expect one of them or someone similar to be signed.

However, lets not discount the Todibo links which may suit that hybrid type role, also Stones or even Kenny may suit that more than at typical RB or CB positions

Exactly. Hes never had a manager who has setup with a focus on clean sheets. Both Martinez and Guardiola are very open at the back in comparison.

If we brought him in then of course Pickford, Keane, Holgate and himself would be in and around that England squad. Good for squad harmony and building for success
