Would only be banned the following year or so - I doubt Man City are bothered by a ban when they done a domestic treble last season and could do another treble this one!

I think they probably are to be honest, and they wouldn't be delighted to lose players like KDB in their prime. The fact they're contesting it in the highest possible court of law rather than accepting it and saying "we're not bothered anyway!" is perhaps a hint that they're not too keen on the idea.

No chance - we are 12th now I would rather a season or so of winning stuff and potentially losing top players to a ban and dropping back to 12th than being stuck in 12th abiding by corrupt rules with no success at all.

Pfft, at goodison, i think they've scored 1 jammy last minute rebound in the last 5 years there, hardly anything to shout home about, we've been finishing mid table in all of those seasons because it's not consistent, hence why we conceded 5 against their average attack

I know what you mean, it's a bold idea, but I don't think even Usmanov has the amount of money you would need to pull it off these days. The only way we'd get top players to join us now is if we doubled up what the likes of City pay, and even then we'd only attract mercenaries to begin with, so no guarantees we'd win anything. It's a difficult one.
