I dont blame the manager for a performance that told me what I already know

This team can be competitive but they have the worst forwards in the division and cannot turn pressure into goals.
Still wrong decisions, no subs (even if the options are atrocious) - that's not down to the board, Dyche didn't use what he has available.

It didn't - it showed parts of why it lies there, but the manager also put himself in a bad position today.
How? By playing his non existent striker.
Did we create chances? Yes. There is only so much a mangers can do. But let’s turn on the manager, with if we played this way we would have won or alternatively lost by more goals, with less chances created

So player on the bench are atrocious but he should have used them.

If we replayed the game and he made the subs you wanted. Enter the comments why make subs? Dammed if you do….. dammed if you don’t!!!

Nah, not turning on him, just things he improve on - he's supposedly a details man, is he not? The detail of "pump the ball in the box to the midget" apparently missed him; we still created for the midget and he is still also an atrocious footballer, so no idea how Simms or even a CB uptop isn't the better option if that's what we're doing.

Sorry I criticised him, I won't do it again. He was perfect and I liked how we used our subs nearing the 80th minute, that was boss, really changed the game.

Somewhere between the worst performance since football was invented and an industrious slightly unfortunate loss with McNeils best game by far, which with Calvert Lewin playing we most likely would have won by a similar margin.
Standard then. We are really going to pay for having no real forward options. It's easy to piss an moan about it based on this last transfer window, but it's a long term problem dating back to when we sold Lukaku. We've spent good money (transfer fees, wages, agents fees_ on toss by and large. I know @TheBigIguana disagrees with me on Tosun's contribution, but I don't mind that kind of signing as long as we don't jizz stupid cash on them. The problem is we did.

And here we find ourselves.

*sigh*

Again, you mean to tell me you truly genuinely think it's better to cross it to Maupay than to Simms, based on the game where we left Simms with absolutely no support for a full game?

OK mate.
I dont think either of them are any good

We could drop maupay and thats fair because he was rubbish, but I dont see Simms doing any better. They arent PL level strikers

Stop talking out your arse , come out the ground and just read this...
So the 100s still supporting the manager had no affect on the boards decision not to sack him? If you believe that.....

Many on here were still backing him after every dismal defeat we know the ones spouting "noone can do better"...

So you expect champagne with lemons? We created chances with the midget!!!

Criticise away but at least be realistic. What was the alternative an inexperienced Simms. Did you see the derby? Or a four man midfield? That’s an awful option.

So what has he done wrong? Saying, poor decisions, without saying an alternative, looks silly!!!

This one stings because we actually played about as well as we can and still came up short. It's food for thought when your literal best isn't even good enough. Amidst the high of last week, you sit and reflect and think that aside from a 1 in 100 goal like Coleman's, or a set piece header from Tarkowski, we've got no chance of scoring a goal.
