I would suggest changing the car, for a similar model to opponents eg a formula 1 car. You suggest trading in for a ford kuga as if that’s a genuine solution and if it is the mechanics are the problem and not the car!!!

He tackles through McGinn's leg/thigh before hitting the ball. Would never have been given 20 years ago. In any case, if VAR is to change the decision there must be a clear and obvious error, which it is not.

Having said that, it is hopeless for such an experienced player to make that type of tackle inside the 16-metre area. I also think the occasion was due to Tarkowski trying something he doesn't have the skills for, instead of passing back to Pickford, he tried to go past the striker with the ball, which resulted in an unnecessary throw-in. Then the situation arose, if I'm not mistaken.

Rafael was awful and should've never been a manager of Everton and played a key role in our downfall by putting a team finishing comfortably midtable on autopilot in a very realistic relegation position surely you agree?

Only just back in and have just seen the penalty incident, that wasn't a pen but we got absolutely nothing off Taylor all game, farcical refereeing at times. Seemed to ref the game differently for each side, little things like pulling us up for a ball rolling on a freekick but the same thing was ok for them, inept the lot of them.

Good performance overall, but the inability to score is going to hurt us. We badly need Dom to get back to full fitness, and hit some kind of form.

Have you heard of Marco Silva perhaps? Or David Moyes? Eddie Howe's team keep the ball well but in the end rely on crossing a lot as well.

I saw lots of posters liking Lampard the man but being critical of Lampard the coach. I know myself, I was very critical of him from the outset but I really wanted him to succeed because he was thoroughly decent.

Benitez on the other hand was a dreadful coach and an obnoxious man. I’m very strongly of the view that our mad house of a club would’ve remained intact had it not been for his appointment.

So yes, Lampard was poor. So yes, Lampard should’ve been sacked earlier but if you look back the majority of posters have been saying this for a while.

I just think you need to lose that giant Benitez chip on your shoulder.
