A manager with only a plan A, which is mostly crossing in the box to the big man?

Have you heard of Marco Silva perhaps? Or David Moyes? Eddie Howe's team keep the ball well but in the end rely on crossing a lot as well.
A very overly simplistic view that doesn't really serve any purpose

Erm I said in the post you quoted I don’t think we’re getting relegated. I know you love to tell fibs but at least read the post you’re quoting

I don’t think we will be relegated, despite the boards best efforts.

What happened to all the top jobs your mate was gonna get after us? Still on the dole the fat mess

You mentioned the boards best efforts yet fail to mention the manager with the worst record since Walker.

Funny that when you cant help but bring up Benitez when analysing the reasons for our struggles despite him having nothing to do with this season and having a better record than Mr Lampard...

Only just back in and have just seen the penalty incident, that wasn't a pen but we got absolutely nothing off Taylor all game, farcical refereeing at times. Seemed to ref the game differently for each side, little things like pulling us up for a ball rolling on a freekick but the same thing was ok for them, inept the lot of them.
...that's being diplomatic/kind: they're bent.
Anyway, just seen the score. Disappointed but unsurprised. Villa are a bogey team for us nowadays so I was expecting defeat. We have to get DCL back fit or we are Championship bound.

I’ve already said Frank failed…and was rightly sacked. But this current horrible squad and downward trajectory lead back to 2 places…the board and the fat man

So is "just sign the best players ever and win everything".

Or "just sack him before a ball's been kicked and get a better manager".

Or "How many different times do I need to say you don't make manager decisions on results?"
First one is your words not mine.

Second isn't true. I let him send the team out a few times and quickly saw that he's the same guy he's been for a decade. In other words not good enough. We can pretend for awhile longer if you'd like but that's where it is going to end up.

Results shouldn't matter. If you're doing the right things the results will come and if you aren't the won't. I'd rather bet on the process.

Are you two going to kiss or have I been watching this conversation for nothing?

Just got in from the match. Thought we looked good in the first half. Moved the ball to the flanks well and McNeil put in loads of great crosses. Think Simms is worth a run of games, he’d be far more likely to make something of the chances that came Maupay’s way.
Liked how Dyche spoke after the game. Gives reassurance that he knows what’s needed.
Think Garner’s return will be good in the midfield 3 as an option. Someone to get the ball forwards. Certainly better than Davies.

First one is your words, actually, just rephrased. :)

Second is also your words - you hid away after Arsenal cuz we won and you had the big sad you were wrong and couldn't admit being wrong.

Results are the only thing that matter, you lunatic hahaha

Benitez has nothing to do with this season mate.

The obsession and whataboutery with him has to stop.

If we go down thats largely on Lampard - if you want to keep blaming Rafael to make you feel better then fair enough but the 'istory books will tell a different story.

…I’m certain Benitez has lots to do with this season. The sorry state of the club is a lot to do with the conflict he caused from the top to the bottom of the club. It was a mess before he came but it was intact. It’s no coincidence it’s crumbled since he came.

Absolutely diabolical ref display, worst I’ve seen for a very long time and there have been some shockers!

The onana booking was a joke, then he couldn’t wait to give the pen and I’ve not yet seen a clip where it looks like gana didn’t get the ball.

Villa weren’t too clever for me, we score first and I think we beat them, but they clearly had a bit more than us at the sharp end of the pitch.

Not too disheartened but it’s gonna be a long old slog - need to score when we are on top.
