Absolutely diabolical ref display, worst I’ve seen for a very long time and there have been some shockers!

The onana booking was a joke, then he couldn’t wait to give the pen and I’ve not yet seen a clip where it looks like gana didn’t get the ball.

Villa weren’t too clever for me, we score first and I think we beat them, but they clearly had a bit more than us at the sharp end of the pitch.

Not too disheartened but it’s gonna be a long old slog - need to score when we are on top.

You can see the rotation of the bloody ball change when fans touches it. Referees are clueless.

Never should have lost that

Unfortunately it’s mostly about the result the position we are in,I was actually encouraged in general, one of the better performances this season, not a high bar level I know!!better than last week, unfortunately it is that final third area that undone us and the fact Villa have midfielders with ability to shoot, maybe Garner can provide a spark for us,Simms has to be given the shirt Wednesday if Calvert Lewin is absent yet again,McNeil won me over today, never stopped all game,if we had actually had a proper target man for him to look for it could have been oh so very different.

…I think the referee was another example of an official wanting to be noticed.

An old mate of mine (who is no longer with us) made what I thought was a great point. Before the PL era referees came onto the pitch unnoticed some minutes after the players. My mate said it was a huge mistake letting them lead the players out and take the match ball.

The game should be about players.

The incident with Iwobi first half and then similarly with the villa lad second half summed this absolute clown right up I thought Eggs🙄

Are you for real?!
You're saying Maupay, a striker with 1 fluke shot on goal in 30 games, is a better alternative than a youngster because of coveted experience? Experience in failing to score? Cuz that's all he has. As well as absolutely no height - he's not a striker, he's a pissboiler.

Are you okay mate?
I am not saying better but also not worse. If Simms starts, do we win? Probably not
