McNeil is the only player who is comfortable with the ball at his foot.
I voted him my MoM but his right leg is nothing more than a crutch. Moves and opportunities breakdown because he needs to switch back to his left.

It was incredibly blatant. Even a bad ref couldn’t not give it. VAR certainly would have double checked his decision. He'd have been booked for diving. That referee was giving us nothing. The Onana booking was bad enough, but the Doucoure one was possibly the worst yellow card I've ever seen given in my life.
If we get relegated, blaming referees is ridiculous after 38 games. They can’t all hate us.1 game 3pts
2 games 3 pts
3 games 6 pts...so far so good - and we're all loving the new manager bounce.
4 games 6pts
5 games ?? pts
6 games ?? pts
6pts from 6 games?? 1per game...down.
7 pts from 6 games?? 1.16 per game...this is not enough.
8pts from 6 games?? 1.33 per game...this is barely break even.
Poor Reffs, iffy Pennos. This is what happens when your at the bottom.
It'll go down to the last game Vs Bournemouth
I'm not blaming Reffs as such...though they're all seriously average and that's being generous. If we get relegated, blaming referees is ridiculous after 38 games. They can’t all hate us.
And I’ll be amazed if we’re not down before the Bournemouth game. If we survive, Dyche will have his own statue built.
I’ve been one of McNeills biggest critics but he pretty much done his job yesterday, got plenty of crosses in and won us a few corners. It’s not his fault we have no one in the middle. It's a horrible task to pick a MoM when we've lost and no-one has played particularly well.
I don't think McNeil was anything special but he was clearly our best player. He'd maybe get a 6/10 - whereas most of the others would be between 3-5/10.
I know we can be biased against the ref - especially when we lose - but he was really poor yesterday. I do however think it was a penalty - and that falls on Gana making such a stupid challenge in the box. We do give away a lot of stupid fouls in and around our area that inevitable lead to goals. We don't seem to have very intelligent players but at least the chief culprit - Gordon - has gone.
I'd like to see these MOM polls have a couple of options added - one should definitely be no-one as MoM, I'd also like to be able to see the name and rate the ref for the game. This fella was a joke abd would get 3/10 if I'm being generous. It would be interesting to see if there are ny trends or are we all just moaning cos we lost.
I also despise these time wasting tactics. Martinez was guilty and was booked for it - but the ref - or timekeeper - whoever is responsible - didn't really add much on than what he normally would. Nearly every time someone goes down - or as I'm seeing more and more - fakes a head injury - play is stopped. It's crazy - and just being abused - so the team who are losing will always lose out. Funny how it's never the losing team who go down with such 'injuries'. Just play on for Christs sake. If the injury is serious enough the ref should be responsible for stopping play - but let's be honest - this should be few and far between.
Don't dive in to challenges inside the box when we have men around the ball
Another horrific mistake from Gueye who can't go 90 minutes without making a terrible mistake. What a terrible signing, based on sentiment rather than the needs of the team
sorry but he won the ball on the replays it shows
Maybe
It's a 50 50 call for me. Don't dive in and give a fussy referee a chance to award a penalty. A good midfielder stays on his feet in that scenario.
Would like Godfrey, holgate or Keane to start ahead of Coady next game.
