common sense tells me everton might walk themselves into trouble. I have no doubt if we play with the intensity and aggression like v man city we can get 3 points but for some unknown reason everton don't do that.
maybe it's we just aren't good enough in possession and play better being aggressive off the ball. I'd like a couple of hard tackles early. set the tone and play high up the pitch. if we sit back I forsee usual problems.

Every single game we played last season we had inferior possession. I was actually sad enough to check it one day. Only 1 game we had equal 50% possession. That was Burnley ?

Hope the fans turn up tonight and make it horrible for Brighton.

Have to take the graft and battling spirit into tonight and we can definitely get the win, as I think you can get at the Brighton defence. Attitude and desire can carry the day.

Could have done with Mac allister going on a longer bender and getting lost in downtown Buenos Aires as he’s a quality player and improves their midfield - hopefully he’s still got a stinking hangover!

Referee is a worry, but then they always are!

Into them blues - UTFT!

In my opinion.

This Brighton reminds me alot of Roberto Martinez' Everton. Free scoring, fast paced attack with potential defensive frailties.

Do what every team eventually did to us, sit back and give them all the ball. Hit them on the counter. It's the best version of Everton right now anyway.

Avoid a basketball style match as they will outscore us. But I reckon we have a better defense than them.

The 'GP' crowd won't like it. But I prefer to win this one thanks

@davek trying to tell me thats a team we need to fear.

Trossard aside its utter pony.
Look what they've done in the last few seasons...then look at what Everton have done.

Wake up and face the reality of who we are these day: we are bottom feeders in the food chain.

If we as a fanbase accept that then we can allow these substandard players of ours at least some chance of not freezing in fear at GP when they're tasked with wiping the floor with teams who are clearly their superiors.

You can't be happy if you're a Brighton fan today, travelling the best part of five hours for a 19:45 kick off, about £150 return on the train, obviously paying to stay over in Liverpool and another five hours back tomorrow. Two days off work and spending around £300 nicker for a single game. Honestly not worth it, for any game.

Reinstate the three o'clock KO.
Everbody can make travel arrangements in advance and one can enjoy a pint before and after.

There must be a way to schedule games where fans don't need to travel the length of the country to watch their team on a weeknight. The fact that Sky, BT and Amazon have the power to reschedule games after they've been confirmed and leave fans hundreds of pounds out of pocket is a sickener like.

The sooner we go "one nil to the Everton", and if it means boring, I'm all for winning.
