I mean, you are kind of just proving my point with this. They have both had decent games and games where they have played well. They are developing
and shown they are capable of playing at this level but young players will have poor games and be [Poor language removed] sometimes, it how it is when they are learning. Fans forget the good games and just hold on to the bad.

I mean other posts talk about playing the kids ffs - that is what they are and this is what playing the kids looks like.
No, I disagree. I’ve don’t think Myko has had a good game for us and Patterson defo hasn’t. They shouldn’t have been bought and we would have been better with better experience.

I had a big argument with the lad who sits behind me. I was giving Lampard grief for bringing the same side on in the second half and he said ’give him some respect, he kept us up last season. He got quite upset when I argued that it was actually us, the fans who kept us up, not Lampard. That game tonight probably wont be Lampard's last, but it should be. His confidence is shot, his ideas are non-existent and his tactics are laughable. We were utterly humiliated tonight by a tiny club, with a team that cost pennies (relatively speaking). Their squad, their tactics and their courage just served to highlight how bad we are in every position bar one or two.

This side will send us down, god I am so depressed right now!

Think we may have to close our eyes and give Dyche the job. He'll play to the strengths of this lot which is defensively and catch teams out from setpieces to score. Frank is too naive. He believes in the likes of McNeil and Maupay too much. Dyche had McNeil warming the bench towards the end of his tenure because he knew the kid reached his peak. And people will draw comparisons to Almiron and how he's turned things around but you could tell there was a player there that just lacked end product. McNeil is so left-footed and bereft of confidence we may as well play with 10 men
Scoring set pieces are we?

Absolutely unacceptable that. From the off you could see that waste of oxygen McNeill was gonna cause us trouble not helping back. 3 central midfielders who are absolutely terrified to take the ball and go forward with it, a striker who is useless (two if you count maupay). Wasn’t even sure what the plan or formation was tbh… absolutely pitiful and I don’t even think changing the manager will matter. We just aren’t good enough.
As a striker? I don't.

"General play it was pretty even"... It's either delusional or taking the p!$$

"You can't win every week"... If he means, "every week, we can't win," then he's right. I don't know what else he can be referring to.

Villa sacked Gerrard after 11 games this season with 0.82 points per match (9 points total). Their new manager, Emery, has got the same amount of points from just 4 games. Villa are now comfortably mid-table

Lampard has been in charge for 18 league games this season and has got us just 15 points (0.83 ppm). I know that there are teams below us but this is relegation form.

Changing manager doesn’t guarantee a recovery (both Wolves and Southampton below us used the World Cup break to change manager and have yet to see the benefit).

Stick or twist.

Either way, we are in serious trouble.

If only theyd listen to me I could sure help them.

And this is why we end up with “experience” like Maupay, McNeil etc and not finding cheap gems who need development like Brighton do, as I say, the fans don’t tolerate the young players needing to learn or their mistakes.

Thing is if it was a routine spirited 2-1 defeat we would shrug and say 'well its Brighton and they are a good side'... we have sunk so.so so low
