Not what we needed. Brighton can get away with it, they are Brighton. They brought about 2 thousand fans and have a stadium which holds like 20k. We are Everton, we are not Brighton.
Well next season Brighton will be welcoming City, Liverpool and United to the AMEX Stadium, while we will be playing host to the likes of Blackpool, Bristol City and Plymouth.

Tonight was the first time I’ve walked out mid match at a football game and I’ve been supporting Everton for over 40 years. To crumble in such a way, it was heartless, cowardly and disrespectful to all the greats who have played for this majestic club. I couldn’t take any more at 4-0.
You missed all 5 of our goals!?

People keep saying this - "previous managers had a better team because we had Richy, James and Digne. We also had Keane, Tosun, Walcott, Delph, Jonjoe, Cuco, Sandro, and many more wasters draining the clubs finances. Davies, Gomes and Holgate were regular starters. We had Gbamin and Bolasie permanently injured. People were calling for Matty Pennington and Brendan Galloway to be picked it was that bad.

The thing is, we've had (and still have) loads of players who were good in other teams: Gomes was at Barca; Allan was a favourite at Napoli; Pep rated Delph; Siggy had the most assists in the prem over several seasons; Schneiderlin was great for Southampton and looked good for Nice after leaving us. Antonee Robinson looks class for Fulham.

We're not spinning a wheel. There should be (sorry, should have been!) a careful process of looking at managers who know what they're doing. Don't tell me a good manager doesn't make a difference when Brentford, Brighton and Fulham are in the top half of the table. There's just no proper thought goes into who we appoint. It's the nearest, easiest, first-comes-to-mind names time after time. There are managers who get the best out of players. FFS let's appoint one.
I don't disagree. A good manager can make a difference. But we won't pick a good manager more often than not. We should have a logical, effective process for picking managers, but we clearly don't and won't as long as these bozo board members are in charge. So with this crew, it really is the equivalent of just spinning a wheel.

That's exactly my point.

When do we ever go away and beat a team 4-1.

In our starting 11 tonight we had;

The England number 1
Scottish international right back
Ukraine international left back
2 x England international centre backs one whom has just been the world cup
1 x Senegal international midfielder
1 x Nigerian international midfielder
England capped international forward

Why can’t we get a tune of these players? What the hell is going on?

I would like to thank whoever chose to stove in the back window of my car, for completing such an enjoyable visit to Goodison.
Sorry to hear that. The half-wits do not realise how much hassle that is...or care. Hearts of Gold though lah!

Tosus was taking about £90k a week from us over a period of about 4 years. Quite literally hemorrhaging the club financially, despite offering nothing. Similarly with Walcott.

"Big Sam" took us from 13th to 8th. Hardly a groundbreaking stuff.
By that scheme of thought let's all blame Gravy T*ts then. It's him that's gonna get us relegated! Sheesh...

I might be in the minority here. But I firmly believe the whole backline is worse than last season. I would much sooner have Godfrey left back, Keane and Holgate centre backs and Coleman right back. Nothing has been improved at all in that regard and the amount of goals shipped gets worse and worse. The only time we concede fewer is when 10 men are behind the ball.

The only reason the goals against this season is looking ok is a combination of luck and playing extremely defensive in a number of games.
