Can’t fault Pickford tonight. He can’t save everything , when we play this bad. I like Patterson , but he was run ragged tonight. He’s raw. He was exposed and hung out to dry . He should have been subbed earlydoors., Mylenko also got no help. What is Cole teaching these guys.
Our Senegal and Nigerian duo have been useless now for the past two months. And DCL is just not the guy to get us a pile of goals., He might get a few , but he is hardly prolific. I could go on. But it’s just the same old same old.
And what about our centre backs? These guys need to regain that hard to beat attitude. Boss the rest of this team. Boot the ball into row Z , if needed. And stop this nonsense passing from side to side. That isn’t their game.

Sorry , not slamming your post. You are spot on. Why can’t these guys step up and be counted. Win a few matches. I’ve a 3 word answer ……Mr. Frank Lampard. He’s the one who set that team up tonight. He’s the one who couldn’t inspire his team to hold on against Wolves. And he’s the one who presided over those 2 nonsense matches against Bournemouth. He’s the one who won’t start a few youngsters . They couldn’t be much worse.

Can he turn things around? I don’t think so. But I fear that we are going to have to hit bottom spot , for our board to make a move.
And I hope that this doesn’t happen , but I fear that the FA Cup will be sacrificed on Friday. A Man Utd second string will knock us out. It’s all so predictable. But of course , I really do hope that I am wrong.

And as for the money to pay Lampard off , just pay him. It’s nothing off our nose. And let’s roll the dice again. We have to stay in this division. Lampards pay off will look ok , if our next manager can turn this around.
Last point , Kenwright out as well. That nonsense about us having some good times as well , finished me with this idiot. Rant over. I promise.
 
Tom Davies has been at Everton for 15 years now and could conceivably see out his career here and he has never been good enough for the premier league. What’s wrong with that picture?
 

If you analyse the game the amount of times the players don’t know what to do with the ball in possession and simply look for iwobi is ridiculous

Iwobi is constantly moving and running into space and is the easy ball because no one else is doing anything. The whole team at the moment is completely reliant on iwobi and what he does with the ball. I guess it’s no suprise he ended up winning us a pen at the end.
 
There are 20 games to go. We might not improve like Villa has, but a spell of form to lift us off just a bit off the bottom like Leicester IMO is going to happen.

I just can’t understand why we perform so poorly at home compared to when we’re playing away from home. It’s inexplicable. I haven’t been to Goodison for a while now due to health reasons, but you’d think that with the fans behind the players that we’d perform better at Goodison.
