I kinda remember them having a number of nice passing moves going down both flanks. It’s not free flowing though. It’s possession for the sake of it. Without Mitoma to give them some impetus they would struggle I think.

So they were all over us, thenBut creating no chances. We ceded possession and territory deliberately and wanted to play on the counter attack.
Which resulted in very few chances.I kinda remember them having a number of nice passing moves going down both flanks.
Regardless of chances created, they were all over usWhich resulted in very few chances.
No, we let them have possession for most of the game.So they were all over us, then
I see, so we were deliberately poor in possessionNo, we let them have possession for most of the game.
No, they had more possession. And we deliberately let them have it because that was the best way to beat them. The game pretty much went exactly to plan until we tired in the second half.Regardless of chances created, they were all over us
There is no difference in passing the ball 100 times resulting in no shot on goal and passing it 3 or 4 times resulting in no shot shot on goal.I see, so we were deliberately poor in possession
I see, so who gets more tired? The team passing the ball or the team chasing the ball? There is no difference in passing the ball 100 times resulting in no shot on goal and passing it 3 or 4 times resulting in no shot shot on goal.
Played us off the park. The possession stats didn't lie.Regardless of chances created, they were all over us
Amazing how others can watch the same game and see something so differentPlayed us off the park. The possession stats didn't lie.
I doubt I've ever seen a team do that all the years I've been going the match.
I'd be interested to see how many touches of the ball their big centre back no.29 had.Amazing how others can watch the same game and see something so different
They didn't do much with the ball though. Their style is fairly boring at times with quite a lot of pointless passing.Played us off the park. The possession stats didn't lie.
I doubt I've ever seen a team do that all the years I've been going the match.
So the team that is most tired loses? Not heard that rule before. Saw Everton under Martinez perform in a similar way numerous times and lose. We weren't great in possession and didn't make the most of the counter attack opportunity we had but in terms of chances created the game was pretty even.I see, so who gets more tired? The team passing the ball or the team chasing the ball?
