Special shout out to the officials so far today, who’ve disallowed a perfectly good goal and called us offside twice when we weren’t. What happened to letting play go on then checking with VAR? Last season they were letting it go when it was 5+ yards off and this season the polar opposite. Bizarre.

So, on the plus side Dyche has set this squad up to be up 4-0 at the half. The downside is he doesnt have the players to execute that as long as we dont have a striker or wingers. But you certainly cant fault Dyche for this gameplan.

Looked better but it’s a bang average Fulham team missing their 2 best players. I’d expect us to look better.

Need a win here and a few attacking additions and we’ll be fine this season for me.

Nobody is going to convince me that a Calvert Lewin who is not 'fit fit' or a Danjuma who hasn't played a lot in pre season would not be more likely to score than Maupay.

No I don’t think many strikers score that particular chance actually. Keeper did well and it’s on the stretch. He will score if he keeps up this movement, no doubt.

Rough season for Maupay last year. His teammates behind him didn't give him anything.

Already today, they've been on a plate and his finishing has been terrible. Really difficult to defend him.

Space is there and he isn't isolated like he was last season (doesnt excuse him some misses).

I want so badly for it to work out for him, because I love a good redemption arc. But he’s just terrible at the one thing that matters in his position.

Give him his due though, his game has looked a lot better today. Probably helped by us not launching 50 yarders to his head all game tbf.

He looks fit and he is sprinting full speed. Makes a difference when your players actually move

Easily. Any half decent player slots or slides it to Garner from Doucouré's position. Maupay should genuinely have a hat trick.
