Simply not good enough.
Players mostly played well, certainly had chances, just can’t finish.
Fault lies with Dyche. Yes they had effort and that’s his doing but the team was wrong.
Keane should only play if someone is injured.
Iwobi should’ve come off at first sign of injury to be able to keep him long term.
Maupay gonna Maupay.
Take out those two next match and hope Iwobi is still healthy.
I don’t understand why the first sub is after 70 minutes. That has to change.

Start in the boardroom. Then we can move on to the dugout and pitch. They are merely symptoms of "good times".
You are 100% correct, Bill Kenwright is the face of our club, he is an ineffectual bumbling old man who looks like a jumble sale on legs, why would any player want to come to Goodison. I have no doubt that he will go but I think he might see us relegated before he goes.

Totally predictable.

Every amateur on this forum knows we need someone who can put the ball in the back of the net. Why the professionals employed by the club haven't done everything they can to fix it, I have no idea.

The majority of the team put in a great display and never deserved to be on the losing side there. We know Maupay isn't good enough and his misses cost us today, his finishing simply was not the standard required.

I wouldn't be too downhearted about it, but at the same time I'm not convinced I see anyone else being signed. Che Adams would have scored today I've absolutely no doubt about it. I think he is the answer and we need to get him in and let him do what Marcus Bent did for us all them years ago.

Fulham were average as well. Not a good sign. Imagine being told Maupay will be starting the first game a few months ago.

Game 1 forfeited due to again being underprepared for the season. Villa away next up. If they don’t get their finger out this week that’s likely another game down the drain.

Wolves the next home game. We 100% need players over the line before that game. Can’t be throwing away home games to Fulham and Wolves.

Easy to praise players that don't play, than ones that do

We had 19 shots, 9 on target, and Leno is MOTM topping all the stat scores....

The only issue I've got in that game is Thelwell not bringing in a striker
Utter madness. Yes the board and DoF have let us down, but we also have a lot of poor players and a poor manager. It's all a very grim picture.
