One of those games innit, on another day we don’t come up against a Leno and we win comfortably
It wasn't.....it was a game with inadequate strikers....a game where we should have had at least 4 goals. We cannot score and haven't been able to for several seasons. A problem that hasn't been rectified but a blatantly obvious problem that all can see apart from our recruitment team.

If we do not sort it out we will be close to relegation...if we do sort it out finally then mid-table comfortably. That is the difference.

Forget DCL and take him out of the equation...we need a proper striker asap

Here's the reality for all the bedwetters:

- We played well and should have won comfortably
- We made several good chances through good play
- We did not concede many chances
- There were good performances from key players
- We have a chronic problem with bad finishing
- Jordan Pickford's passing is one of the biggest problems we have
Against an undercooked poor Fulham team.
We are in for a repeat of the last 2 seasons because we haven’t bought a striker.

Oh well. Writing was on the wall with all those missed chances.
Only small positive is that there are deffo two worst teams than us in Luton and Sheff United who will take the bottom two spots comfortably.

More than likely going to be a fight over that third spot with a number of teams including us. League is weaker than last season thankfully.

Yep - one of those other teams we should be fighting with is Fulham. They are massively spawny - as today showed. They massively overperformed on their xG at both ends last season and should be dragged in this season as that isn't sustainable. We should have won comfortably today but our poor finishing and Leno's keeping bailed them out once again - and it gives them an advantage over us alread.

Once again we're throwing games away at the start of the season as if they don't count.

Christ. If that's what you think, I reckon Dyche could be nailing your partner and you still wouldn't criticise him.

He doesn't have a clue how to manage games or affect positive changes. Even if he picks Maupay (and God knows why he would) he should have hooked hima t half time.

Dyche says "don't put me in a box" and then proceeds to fo everything you would expect of him.

Easy to praise players that don't play, than ones that do

We had 19 shots, 9 on target, and Leno is MOTM topping all the stat scores....

The only issue I've got in that game is Thelwell not bringing in a striker

Ah so good to be back. A loss is a loss but at least it's blatantly clear what's going on. We were robbed a goal anyway from Keane but clearly this team just lacks a striker and it would improve so much, even Chermiti will probably do better. I thought Maupay actually did well today on everything but finishing but he just showed why he's not good enough for us, he can't be relied upon.

Also Patterson had an absolute shocker in my opinion, I don't know if injuries have ruined him or what because he looked promising before but after every game that decision to sell Digne to bring him and Mykolenko in looks worse and worse. I think throughout the squad we just have a profound lack of players with a brain, the decision making is constantly awful, it's genuinely Keane, Iwobi, Gana and Doucoure's biggest problem. They'd be far better players if they had the intelligence in the game but it really shows with how they play that they simply don't.

We played well, I wouldn't over react either because Fulham are a decent side. We win that game if it takes place in September because we'll have a striker playing. Dyche set the team out perfectly today and we created the chances for it, individual bad performances in moments let us down today. Not the end of the world.

Here's the reality from a 'bedwetter' Fulham will be one of the worst sides we will play all season. We will not have that much joy against many sides. We were at home. We lost.

Dyche struggles to see out games at the best of times. Won't be able to manage out games we do get in front in as easily because of the new rules.

Bang in trouble again.

Great, how many points do we get?
