We don’t need him to be a world beater. We need him to be a counter attacking engine which he was. Got the ball down field instead of stopping it in its tracks every time.

Every other striker on a run of bad form just resorts to hitting the target with good clean contact and power, eventually one flies in. Either through arrogance, ability shortage or both that he sometimes tries to “finish” and pea rollers it to the keeper or wide. Just focus on the ball and lash a few. Embarrassing at this point.

Decent movement though. If he could slot he’d have had an excellent half.

I thought the last 15 was very very strong. Breaking well, chances created. All midfielders contributing to the attacks positively. No surprise we can’t score but the rest was definitely not terrible for me

Maupay has done a lot right today. I just wish he had some composure, because we'd probably be lauding that as a very good half from him. The hate for him on here today is excessive.

I am convinced that Brighton fitted Maupay with some sort of anti-scoring chip before they sold him to us.

Overall we’ve played well, creating chances and preventing Fulham from doing so.

Its like Brighton knew he was crap.... How could they know that, XG FC was XG FC for a reason but he is our problem now.

Everton are the new XG FC, it like it follows Maupay around!

Think Maupay looked decent TBH, his only real should-score moment was the pass through. He looks lively. Danjuma could make himself known here.

Think Keane has looked plenty capable of costing us a goal, Patterson has been extremely poor, and Gueye should not pass the half way line again. No need to discuss Maupay. Should be about five up here.
