Fulham have lost their last 5, only won once at Goodison since the 50s and we also allow one of the worst footballers I've ever seen at this level to calmly slot home like he was playing in his back garden. We're going down boys. Make your peace with it now.
I've already made my peace with the footballing gods. Been on the cards for a while now and what hurts the most is that you'd have thought that after last season's scare we'd have learnt from it, but we haven't so here we are again.
I'm devastated at the situation but if the one thing you long for is an international break whereby you don't have to suffer these idiots, I think it's time to take a step backwards and concentrate on what makes you feel good.
Amen.

It's so easy in hindsight to say such things as 'should have played Simms' or Where was the spirit?'

I do it myself.

Just look at that bench though and what we have available at present. That's the poorest squad of players I've ever seen since I started supporting the Blues.

Gentlemen, sometimes you just have gotta admit to yourselves that the team just isn't good enough.

Maybe it's time to start making peace with yourselves and accept the reality of what may be coming. I have :(

No point in blaming players or the manager anymore. It's gone too far for that now, don't you think? The people that run the club have put us here. It's gonna have to be them that get us out of it.
You can 100% blame the players today. Shocking. Shambolic. Clueless. Weak. Cowardly. Pathetic. Think you get the point.

I'm with you Tommy. I was angry initially but now I'm done. They've ruined me. If we stay up I'll be happy. If not then so be it. 🤷‍♂️

Today was an abject display but it's not that uncommon for Everton to lose against sides they're expected to beat and then grab a surprise win against some indisputably higher quality club. Excelsior, blue weirdos, excelsior.

Thought Garner played well but drifted out the game Second half like the rest of them. Shame we didn’t have the likes of Doucoure or Onana to bring on. Our bench options was a joke.
Would have been nice to throw young Mills on to give him the last 10 mins as Gray was not doing anything.
Let’s hope DCL is back for the remaining games or else we are down

What should he have done differently windy? And would it have been enough to change that result?

Looking at the bench, I don't think so.

That's the bigger worry for me - we're missing a few but the reality is this team is relegation fodder.

Simms for Maupay, set up in a 4-5-1 like the games we won and played well in, more conservative and more direct, ball to feet.

It's such an easy excuse to make for him honestly - yeah, not exactly amazing quality, but we've looked great playing one way with the same players, maybe don't change it when we need stability?

I’m not criticising the crowd (although I do partly) but you could see this coming. 5 minutes in and you knew we were getting beat today. The crowd were understandably nervous and the players even more so. Unfortunately they’re just not good enough and need us to fire them up. Wether that’s right or wrong, chicken or the egg is immaterial, it’s just a fact. It’s a sad state of affairs but unless we’re right behind them from the off they just crumble.
I wasn’t there today. I watched it on telly. So I know I have no right to criticise, I’m just making an observation
