Just waiting at Kirkdale. That was Lampard-level stuff today.
There's absolutely no justification for playing Maupay, his performances this season have been utterly abject. Godfrey at full back was the wrong call too. Also, what was he thinking with 4-4-2? We looked loads better after he abandoned that bizarre decision. What should he have done differently windy? And would it have been enough to change that result?
Looking at the bench, I don't think so.
That's the bigger worry for me - we're missing a few but the reality is this team is relegation fodder.

You're right about the squad, though. Dreadful.
Tell that to the superannuated Kenwrong please.Life’s all about choices. Make the right ones and it can always be good times
Of course it is, but that doesn't mean that Dyche hasn't made mistakes.Would Simms or Patterson have changed the result? Doubt it.
Our best spell was first half/we didn't improve with them on the pitch.
It's why I think the problem is deeper than "Dyche got it wrong today"
Yes it is, but he didn’t help us how we set up today. But the options off our bench are horrific.Would Simms or Patterson have changed the result? Doubt it.

That's been the same measure of success for the last 4 or 5 managers we've had.we have a manager for whom success is not getting relegated
Mismanagement on a grand scaleI can’t say I am surprised at that result. As a club we have very little to offer outside the fan base, we have an owner who knows nothing about running a football club but that doesn’t stop him interfering, we have a board who are a disgrace but are so delusional that they won’t leave and let people of ability to take over, we have a manager for whom success is not getting relegated and then we come to the squad, a bunch of yellow, lazy, greedy excuses for footballers. If we do get relegated which is now very likely then we deserve it, we flirted with relegation last year and the powers that be within the club decided to weaken the team and expect everything to be fine.
