I've seen us win the league four times and I've seen us win a European trophy. I also saw us at Wembley five times in the 1980s alone and I have seen us play there several times since then.

Of all the big Everton games I've been to this is the biggest.

Win it and we have a really great chance of salvation and of rescuing our future and our stadium project.

Let's hope the Goodison atmosphere is suitably inspiring.

Until the next must win game.

Dyche should gamble on Calvert-Lewin

Fulham are discovering what Everton have known to their cost all season: Premier League points are hard to come by without a proven striker in the ranks. The former Everton manager Marco Silva returns to Goodison Park on Saturday – although not the technical area as he serves out a two-match ban – seeking to avoid a sixth successive defeat in all competitions. Fulham’s downturn commenced before Aleksandar Mitrovic received an eight-match ban for his implosion at Old Trafford but they have toiled in front of goal without their focal point. Will Everton be reacquainted with theirs for what looks a must-win game? Dominic Calvert-Lewin is back in full training having been sidelined for 10 weeks with a hamstring injury sustained in Dyche’s first match in charge. The Everton manager kept his counsel on whether the centre-forward will be fit to start against Fulham but, given the predicament and the occasion, the temptation will be huge. Andy Hunter

I don't know what i will do with myself if we don't get 3 points in this. Need the stress and frustration easing for this run in so just win already blues.

That's a poor backline with those two starting. We can cope with one maybe but not with two.

The pair of them are terrible FBs.

We obvioulsy have a striker problem that needs solving this summer, but very close behind that is the FB situation. If Coleman retires we literally have no competent FBs at the club. We need to get shut of those two and buy two FBs who can do both sides of the FB game in this day and age.
But they are at least FBs and I'd rather see them play in their preferred position than CBs (i.e. Godfrey or Holgate) particularly in a game that we need to score.

As with all these things, time will tell and we'll see who Dyche prefers for the game and how it pans out.

I dont see at that way.

Lose and we're in a poor position. Draw is ok under the circumstance, not great but it'll no doubt put us 3 points ahead of Leicester and 5 points ahead of S'ton. A win will open the door for us to step through to safety.

I just dont see how we're going to do it other than to rely on a massive defensive display and a set piece goal or world class shot from distance.

I remain hopeful but not expectant of anything more than a draw...in fact, I'd take a draw right now.

We need Doucoure and Coleman back ASAP.

then if we draw we’re gone dave end off

I don't want to see the 442 and I don't want to see Simms start. Go back to what we've been doing. Give Dom the start, that will rouse the crowd, and pull him off after an hour. We've shown we can win at home playing that way. Keep it simple and do just that.
