It was ridiculous mate. Barry having a nightmare so he takes Barkley off then he puts Kone left wing when Mirallas would at least be able to play that role.

Because it's a pretty poor excuse to be using after losing a game. International footballers on the pitch , at least expect some sort of fight on the pitch when it matters.

We should be winning games like this and not getting knocked out of the FA cup in the first match.

Only hoping it will spur us on in the league and get that cheque book working quickly to cover the areas where we desperately need to strengthen.

We OutEvertoned ourselves today. Losing to a player who wouldn't have been on the pitch and a team that couldn't buy an away win.. The Leicester jinx struck again. Last season 2 dubious pens and then today.

But the harsh facts are that, younger players excepted, I don't want nearly all the senior players retained.

Lukaku will probably go anyway. Barkley is still a hit and miss. Coleman might be worth retaining beyond 2019. So that leaves Gana. Gana and the kids. The rest can do one for me.

This season was never going to be about winning the league or any cups. The more weaknesses and frailties that are exposed at the moment, just as cash is becoming available, the better.
