City will be fine. Of course they were gonna be nervous, biggest test of their season at the one place they wouldn't wanna go needing points. Two games at home right? Don't think they'll have massive issues
They already celebrating like they won the title. They gonna lose the title

Had we won this game: "Liverpool to be the next Premier League winners!!"
We field a weakened team and lose 5-0 "Everton purposely throw in towel, atmosphere to blame!"
We field a normal team, give an amazing game and go down 2-3 "Everton purposely throw in towel, atmosphere to blame!"

Other than winning there was nothing that would have been deemed acceptable by the kopite press and all those tossers who steal a living as a football "pundit"

I hope they don't have a go at the players, who were excellent as they have been all season. I can see why they'd have a go at some of our fans.

Ah well, glad that's over.......got 2 brother-in-laws who are rs, feel a bit sorry for them,..........NOT!!
Let's hammer Hull and finish up on a good note.
We're in Europe, can't complain, looking forward to see what country/city we will descend on!

Knowing Kopites they'll line the car park with their torches and flares for the Liverpool bus but this time they'll set it on fire..... nutjobs.

.....wonder if that might cause a reaction with the reds tomorrow, if so I reckon it could open the door a little for Chelsea because I wasn't overly impressed with City today. Its factored into the price, but I've just had a few quid on Chelsea @ 40-1 with Paddy Power.

Apart from what I've read about Martin Tyler's disgustingly biased commentary (in total contrast to what I heard on NBC) today has been a pretty good day. The players gave a great account of themselves (much more so than they did against Palace & Soton), other results favoured us - for once! - and it was boss watching the fans give the players & Bobby the ovation their effort deserved at the end (almost) of what has been an amazing season.

I actually welled up watching Bobby walking round Goodison with his little girl who was completely oblivious to the cheers her Papa was getting.

Everton aren't we? ;)

The boys did well today, they gave it their all and were just unlucky at the end of the day. Some of our 'fans' need to rethink their priorities. Well done to the players on a really good season for us, shame they didn't get the sort of atmosphere they should have in that game.

How can a true Evertonian be excited about liverpool winning the league, come on now

I don't think his commentary was overly bias....he just layed into our fans pretty much non stop.

My nerves are shredded - our game was a win double in the end - Tim goes and BFS stays!. Utd lose to ALMOST make 6th a done deal for us (point needed) and another season in Europe. Everton are assured of 5th before kick off and then just about manage to lose to MCFC. The RS will, hopefully, miss out on the title again (and get done by Palace on Mon to rub salt in the wound).

What started as a rubbish day ended well when the dust had settled.

Congrats on 5th, let's hope it is a EFC v THFC Europa Cup final.
