Considering for me,we played half hearted for quite a lot of that game,and at times only really start to play at 2-1/3-1 down,i didn't think city were that good at all,took 2 very good Joe hart saves at different times,and for me if we played for it,we would have won that game

My nerves are shredded - our game was a win double in the end - Tim goes and BFS stays!. Utd lose to ALMOST make 6th a done deal for us (point needed) and another season in Europe. Everton are assured of 5th before kick off and then just about manage to lose to MCFC. The RS will, hopefully, miss out on the title again (and get done by Palace on Mon to rub salt in the wound).

What started as a rubbish day ended well when the dust had settled.

Congrats on 5th, let's hope it is a EFC v THFC Europa Cup final.

Playing Jags didn't really work, but I guess it was partly to demonstrate to Hodgson that he was fit for the World Cup and partly because we had an opportunity to experiment. I thought Roberto might have used Alcaraz's strength (especially in the air) against Dzeko and used Stones and Jagielka either side zonally.

That's the first game all season where I've felt like Barkley could be our playmaker. He was really bright, he was willing to run with the ball and he had a good range of passes. I normally think that he plays too much for himself and that he's not aware of the runs going on around him, but he seemed less selfish today.

I thought that Lukaku had one of his better games too. He was winning flick ons where he doesn't normally seem too interested and he used the ball quick well.

I'm happier with fifth and Liverpool probably losing out on the league title than a tenuous fourth and gifting them the Championship though.

Admittedly gonna miss Tim. As a neutral all his matches were exciting. Spurs have been kind of a weird team this year. Yes Levy spent heavily but its almost like your 4-5 best players all play the same position (attacking mid).

I thought we were the better team in the second half,city were nervous and they have two games to go and the pressure is off the rs and all on city.Judging there second half performance i can see the rs getting there 35 million back on andy carroll next week

With 5th wrapped up, it was for the best. I am not going to read RAWK, but I know that if I did, I'd feel even better about today's defeat. I will have a drink and enjoy their fume tonight. Especially those that post on here pretending to be Evertonians.

Come on Palace. A point and the title is all but wrapped up, surely.

Europe qualification though! Absolutely made up and looking forward to playing on the continent with this team and this manager. There's so much to look forward to. Ross Barkley will set the tournament alight.
