I don't always get upset when we lose, its usually the manner of defeat that can upset me ,like soton and CP. Today was a decent performance against the likely Champions so that hasn't disappointed me too much but its the cherry on the cake I have enjoyed today.

I don't think today was a bad performance, I'm really proud of the lads, they gave it their all. I understand looking back now and seeing the positives like Liverpool missing out on the league but I didn't understand some fans actively wanting us to lose..

Lots of new usernames around tonight questioning our team's will today. Kopites, the most transparent tits in the universe. We go again against Hull our Kopite friends, rest assured of that.

They're amazing. They're crap at it too. That out out town gloryhunting mongyness always shines through.

Anyway LOL!

Weird game. Superb goal from Barkley. Citeh weren't all that and despite leading, didn't look that arsed in the first half, but had a bit of quality when needed.

We're not far behind them.

Strange atmosphere. People still wanted us to win but the earlier results turned it into an end of season game. Disappointed to have lost but we all know the silver lining

So pleased thats out of the way. Spoke to mate at the game said Evertonians were class all day.

And wow how good is Barkley?

I was actually trying to show that I didn't think it was the majority of fans who thought that way, I didn't want to generalize everyone. And if wanting your club to win regardless of how other clubs are affected means I'm smug then I definitely am :)

But taking a superior position over fellow supporters who may not be as arsed over a loss in a one-off situation like this is the definition of self-satisfied smugness. Anyway, hope you feel warm and content in that blanket of sanctimony.

Must admit I didn't want Everton to equalise. I was actually nervous about it. Look at the defeat in a different way.....the game will be forgotten soon enough but if we won and Liverpool won the league then we would of been reminded of it for the rest of our life...now that thought is painful enough.

Ah okay, I forgot that wanting my team to win suggested smugness. Did you want us to win today?

The Turds can still win the title, and it'll still hurt, but nowhere near as much as it would have had we given them a major boost. And if they needed our help to win the title, how worthy a champion would they really be?

Maybe it's just my mindset I guess, I just couldn't imagine me like that..ah well, we won't be in this situation next week, we'll be at the top of the pile! ;)
