The first 20 minutes was shocking so bad it was untrue and we could have been battered but then slowly got into it without really threatening enough.

It's not that big a deal though we will be in more big games with Ancelotti and he will find a way.

Can’t tell if this is sarcasm or not. It was Tosun... Gylfi was in the box and the player who gives it away (Tosun) runs back and you can clearly see it’s him when they score.

No not sarcasm, are we actually on about the same thing, the breakaway for their second goal? If it is then you're wrong I'm afraid mate (I know the difference between Tosun and Sigurdsson) I've just rewound their second goal back (again! ) Sigurdsson has the ball just outside the box, he attempts a pass that goes to a united player, they breakaway and score. I've got it on the telly now paused with it showing Sigurdsson about to play the ball.

Yes if VAR was being used he probably walks but I don’t think the ref or officials would have seen it, it was off the ball.

Ref was looking straight at them when he grabbed his throat. Showed an angle from behind the goal.

Seasons isn't over though, not yet anyway. It's not like other seasons where we have dipped out of the league cup, sit 14th in the league and have Chelsea or someone away in the 3rd round of the FA cup.

Squad 'quality' in depth is always going to hinder us this season. When your options from the bench are Bernard, Tosun and Davies, we are always going to be limited in what we can achieve. Top 6 would be a total dream with this squad, but I think it's a big ask.

Thought coleman was best of a pretty mediocre bunch, but could have gone for Godfrey or Doucoure just on the basis they were the only ones that seemed able to do the basics. Generally woeful & wasteful in the limited possession, sloppy passing all round. Thought they all looked like they were knackered which doesn’t bode well for Boxing Day (even if it is against the worst team in the league), really odd the likes of Gordon aren’t getting a sniff.
Ref was utter cack too.

For me add Davies to your list.

I see what you mean but I don’t think Davies off the bench if anything to worry about.

His skill level is slightly lower than we might have hoped when he initially broke into the team but he works hard for me. If he comes on after 70 mins I am not overly concerned.

it’s the others i mentioned that just don’t offer pretty much anything that are the priority for me. It amazed me to see that siggy had the most MOTM votes on here as he might have had a few better games but he just isn’t effective enough for me.
