What’s this about mate? Only caught the last 5 minutes

Forget who it was now but Fernandez grabbed Mina by the chin and pushed him over, Richy was just wiped out and actually looked confused but Neville obviously laughed because it's that south American who 'always' dives, there was a few things they got away with tonight but we still wasn't good enough

Cavani shouldn’t have been on the pitch but the better team won.

Our team just doesn’t have the depth that some of these more established teams do and that shows despite the fact that they have a manager who is poor.

We have so much deadwood to clear in this squad that it’s going to be a difficult year or two until they are all gone piece by piece.

Bernard - not up to anything like the standard.

Gomes - slow and poor in every area

Siggy - always seems a yard too late to reach the ball for me. The ball breaks loose and you think it’s his but he can never quite get there.

Tosun - you may as well bring that iPad on that DCL walked out with as while he can finish, he moves like Hes been put in cement

For me add Davies to your list.

Can somebody tell me why did Cavani was not sent off...grapping Mina by the throat surely has to be a straight red card...yet Gary Neill not saying much about it...thank god we have VAR in the premier league

I don’t think it was spotted. From what I could see it was way off the ball. If VAR is there he walks but I don’t think the ref is going to send him off if he or an official doesn’t see it or is unsure what’s happened.

And they made 9 changes from their last game with no real drop in quality. Imagine our [Poor language removed] team with 9 changes... Ellis Simms, Adeniran, Virginia and co. We have no squad and our squad players playing now are crap.

This is it. We flog our best players every week because we can’t win without them and then they’re out for the big games when we need them. United can rotate world class players so that they arrive at this game with their best midfielders all fit and fresh.

They've better depth than we have. No Digne, Allan, Rodriguez, Richarlison but they've got Pogba, Cavani, VDB etc to rotate
We choose to have poor bench strength or to recruit overhyped and unarsed players.

Loaned out 2 attacking players who would have been handful from the bench in Kean and Walcott.

Delph
Gbamin
Bernard
Tosun

Some of the above 4 players on high wages or expensive purchases have been injured or not good enough.

Its poor management if Tosun is our panic attack option from the bench.

We were abysmal for the first 30 minutes but defended manfully. Gylfi had a good game again but I went for Godfrey as MoM. Seamus looks to be fit again but I wish he'd had a crack at goal when he took the ball into the area instead of trying a pass to DCL who was offside anyway.

Referee was clueless, only started flashing cards at MU after they went ahead instead of when they should have had reds, and a yellow for Pogba for his diving. And where did the 6 minutes of extra time come from?

Only consolation is that if it had gone to penalties MU would have won as they have had plenty of practice!

All of Everton’s bright moments in that game, and there weren’t many, had Sigurdsson at the heart of them. He did well defensively too, for the most part. I do not think he was brilliant, but he was the best of a bad group.

Agree. He was one of the only ones who looked interested. Pressed and hassled, sometimes on his own and could see him getting frustrated that nobody was pressing with him.
